Green Gold is an exquisite Darjeeling Green Tea from Gopaldhara Tea Estate. It is produced from high-quality green tea clones which have less tannin content than the usual Darjeeling clones resulting in zero bitterness in a freshly brewed cup. To make sure that the best flavours are brought out, only small and very fine two leaves and a bud are plucked. The teas are gently rolled so that they do not break. This allows each of them to open up in the pot when they are brewed. Unlike regular green tea, Green Gold has a slight pleasant bitterness with a pleasing vegetal, earthy and pine flavour.
Green tea contains nutrients and compounds that have great health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and is a healthy beverage that can be consumed every day.
